MEMBERSHIP WITHIN ENGINEERING ACADEMY OF SERBIA

Any engineer who accomplished notable professional, scientific and educational results and therefore enjoys high reputation may be elected for a member of the Academy.

Members of IAS are:

• Full members
• Corresponding members
• Honorary members
• Foreign members

The membership is individual and cannot be delegated or inherited.

PROCEDURE FOR THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS

A decision on commencement of election procedure is passed by the Council of Academicians. A decision stipulates the number of academicians to be elected by the domains of engineering activities, and application guide. Elections for new members of the Academy are carried out by secret voting once in a three-year time.
Nominations for candidates for the new Academy members could be submitted by: three members of the Academy, founders of the Academy and Academy’s Departments. The election procedure is public.
Only full members are entitled to vote for the election of corresponding and foreign members.
Only full and corresponding members are entitled to vote for the election of corresponding and honorary members.
